We had a little rain to start with at the Art Deco Weekend on Miami Beach this morning, but by the time we got around to lining up for the parade, the sun was out. Here are some pictures as we got ready to go.
For the parade, they wanted lots of convertibles of any year to carry the participants, so I took my Mustang. At first it looked like I would be carrying a City of Miami dignitary, but they decided to go with a more classic car than a modern one, so I had to settle for some other unknowns. But then, as you will see below the fold, you do what you have to do for the good of the show.
I didn’t mind taking one — or more — for the team.
There’s another antique car show tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. I’ll be there.
