Correction

It was originally reported here that Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum paid Dr. George Rekers — the anti-gay crusader recently caught with a male escort — $60,000 for his testimony against gay adoption in court. (His testimony was disallowed by the judge because it was based on ideology, not fact.)

It turns out that the State of Florida actually paid Dr. Rekers $120,000 for his time and testimony.

We regret the error.
