In A Nutshell

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) sums up the whole conundrum of the teabagger mentality first characterized by “keep your government out of my Medicare” by demanding that the Socialist President Obama wrest control of the oil spill in the Gulf from BP:

The administration, they were hands off. They didn’t do anything. Where were the boats that could have been commandeered by the government to be sent into this region to deal with that oil plume as it was coming up in the water and destroying marine life? Nowhere to be found. Why? The administration was hands off on this policy.

This is the same Michele Bachmann who carried on about the “gangster government” taking over private business: “People don’t want the federal government to either own or control the private economy.”

I want to see her head spin around like that kid in The Exorcist.
