It’s been nearly two months since I started having issues with Comcast after they installed a CableCARD in my TiVo. It has now gotten to the point that phone calls to the service people who promised to look into the continuing saga of tiling pictures, dropped audio, and blank screens go unreturned, e-mails are unanswered, and the orange cable that they put in as a two-day test to bypass the cables in the house to see if that was the problem has become a part of the landscape. It’s a matter of course that I now have the closed-captioning feature turned on so that I can catch the dialogue that I miss when the sound drops out. I’m thinking of calling my attorney. I’m sure he would love to go after a big corporate client. After all, he was involved in the prosecution of General Manuel Noriega, and we all know how that turned out.
