What’s the worst book you’ve read to the point that you couldn’t finish it?

I started reading the next book in the Dan Brown (The DaVinci Code) series. To quote the immortal Dorothy Parker, “This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force.”
