The Republicans are planning to vote next week to repeal the healthcare bill. It’s a symbolic gesture; even if it passes in the House, it is DOA in the Senate. Okay, they’re entitled to their symbolic gestures if it means that much to them. But if you’re looking for any sign whatsoever that the new House leadership is going to take on a more sober and grown-up attitude now that they’re in charge, keep looking.
The GOP’s legislation is not called the “Repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.” It is called the “Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act.”
And that was revised down from the “Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Neener Neener So There Act.”
