Going Downtown

While some folks are freezing and shoveling snow, we’re enjoying the nice weather here in South Florida with Flagler Fest in downtown Miami.

10th Annual Flagler Fest in the heart of Historic Downtown Miami The much anticipated 10th Annual Flagler Fest returns, a don’t-miss, fun-filled, family-friendly day of activities in beautiful downtown Miami. The event is free and open to the public.

Antique, Vintage & Hot-Rod Cars on display by the Antique Auto club of America South Florida Region, Children’s corner featuring face painting, bounce house, petting zoo and more!

Eclectic and vibrant retail boutiques and shops
Lunch cuisine alfresco at downtown cafes
Historic Walking tour of the Downtown Miami Historic District at 12:00 noon by Dr. Paul George
Live music at Miami Avenue & Flagler Street
When: Saturday, February 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Downtown Miami – Flagler Street from SE 3 Ave to NW 1 Ave

The car show is open to antiques, rods and customs, and Mustangs and Corvettes of all years, so I’ll be taking my Mustang along for the fun. It has become one of our more popular shows, and all of the $10 entry fee for the car show goes to the Majic Children’s Fund. Stop by, have fun, and if you see me, say hi.
