I haven’t been to the gas station here in Miami in over a week, but from what I saw around the Southwest and Midwest, the prices are anywhere from $3.76 to $3.89 depending on where you are. So, what’s a gallon of gas going for in your neck of the woods?
As is typical when gas prices spike, there are news reports that people are changing their ways because of the high prices; the Miami Herald reported that ridership on the Metrorail is up, and CNN yesterday had a survey that showed folks are traveling less or changing their vacation plans. (Of course, when the prices drop, we’ll all go back to our profligate ways of lighting our cigars with $100 bills dipped in 98 octane.) So, has the boost in gas prices changed your driving or travel plans?
