Sometimes I wonder if Gov. Scott goes out of his way to do things like this:

Due to a shockingly large deficit, Gov. Rick Scott is planning to invoke his emergency powers and make deep cuts to the rates charged by group homes and case workers who help the developmentally disabled.

The best — or worst — part of it is that at the same time, he was participating in an event in honor of the Special Olympics.

The old saying goes that you can best judge a society by how it treats those that have the least. I think this is a pretty good example of that.
