Glamour Don’t – Political Edition

American political history is strewn with politicians wearing odd bits of clothing to appease or impress parts of the electorate, but more often than not they end up as the butt of jokes.

For example, President Calvin Coolidge in a Sioux war bonnet in 1927:

Or Gov. Michael Dukakis, presidential candidate in 1988, in a tank helmet:

Of all the photos, the only one who looks like they know they look foolish is Silent Cal. The rest of them wouldn’t know a Glamour Don’t if it hit them in the head.
