Welcome to Stratford

We made it to Stratford in record time — less than five hours from Perrysburg. Considering all the construction going on in Windsor between the Ambassador Bridge and the entrance to the 401, that’s remarkable. But the traffic was very light, Customs was very quick, and we were able to grab a quick lunch at the ONRoute in Tilbury.

We’re settled in and after a light snack, we’ll be going to see Cymbeline at the Tom Patterson Theatre. This is a first for me; I’ve never seen the play, so I’m looking forward to a new adventure.

As has been my practice over the years, I’ll be posting reviews and comments about the plays over at my Bobby Cramer blog.

Fun fact: Stratford is not only the home of the world-famous Shakespeare festival, it is also the headquarters of the Ontario Pork Congress. Oh, and someone named Justin Bieber is from here, too.
