Grammatical Error

During the debate in the Minnesota legislature over marriage equality, one self-described “concerned Minnesotan father and husband” warned that gay marriage can lead to “ejaculation inside the colon.”

Well, that’s what happens when you dangle your modifier.

By the way, the bill passed in committee and is moving on toward passage.

  1. It’s 7:15AM and I’m just getting moving and I read this. I’m laughing so hard my sides ache. Hard on an old lady . . .

  2. Obviously, that “concerned father and husband” isn’t paying much attention to what passes for abstinence sex ed: STDs are on the rise among young people because they’ve been taught that (among other activities) isn’t sex.

      • True, FC, but it means that the “concerned father and husband” (which came first, I wonder?) is well behind the… um, curve…
