Question of the Day

Reading Eric Loomis’s post at LGM on Traditional American Manly Breakfasts made me hungry.

What’s for breakfast?

After enjoying nice morning meals with my parents, I’m back to my traditional oatmeal and coffee.

8 barks and woofs on “Question of the Day

  1. Always coffee, gotta have it. This morning a peanut butter and blackberry jam sandwich on pumpernickle, but it could be cereal, or toast, or nothing at all.

  2. Hey, People! Don’t forget the O.J. or some sort of fruit. It’s important to include that every day. And blueberries, raisins or half a banana spark up your oats and grains.

    • Cottage cheese and fresh peach. And decaf coffee – I can only tolerate a miniscule amount of caffeine.

  3. Today it’s coffee and a dish of homemade apple-cranberry-rhubarb-strawberry sauce for starters while checking the news, weather, etc. Then, later I’ll have cold cereal with a banana. I’m a firm believer in a good breakfast.

  4. Since it’s a weekday, peanut butter on sprouted grain toast with a lovely cup of Nespresso lungo. Banana mid-morning.

Weekends are way more fun breakfast-wise.

  5. I had a bowl of flakes and almonds with 2% milk and pancake syrup. That will not hold me until lunch. I will have a piece of that cake Russ made the other night somewhere before noon.
