Post Post Issues and Alan Turing

I had a nice post up from the Washington Post about the possible posthumous pardon of Alan Turing, the British codebreaker who could have led us to the new computer age had be not been hounded to suicide in 1954 for being gay.

But for some reason, there were formatting issues with it, so you will have to go read it for yourself.

The conclusion I come to is how many people and how much advancement in science and thought have been lost because of prejudice and bigotry over such irrelevancies as sexual orientation, race, and gender.  The world wonders.
