Question of the Day

I am hosting a car club party in two weeks and I’m already starting to get ready for it, which means I am trying to figure out when I will have to clean the house.  Which brings me to…

What is/are your least favorite household chore(s)?

Vacuuming sucks (ha ha), especially in a house with white tile floor everywhere.

6 barks and woofs on “Question of the Day

  1. Dusting kills my back. Cleaning the bathroom; I actually made an effort Thursday and we have two. Russ cannot do much, so I have to do the vacuuming, mopping, dishes, mowing, weeding, laundry. I try to dust at least twice a year. And I am cooking dinner tonight; it’s meatless Monday. Pretty good for a guy soon to turn 66.

  2. Cleaning up after having cooked a wonderful (if I do say so) dinner. Sometimes the prep begins around 5:00. We eat around 7:30. So by the time the clock strikes 9:00 and I’ve loaded the dishwasher and scrubbed the pots and pans I’m too pooped to dry what I’ve washed and left on a dish towel on the drain board. Fortunately the beneficiary of all this largess takes the unspoken plea for relief and I can go to the bedroom to get ready to retire and watch TV or read until it’s time to turn off the lights.

  3. I suppose the most frustrating jobs are those like cleaning glass where it’s hard to see progress. The most fun for me is pressure cleaning mildew off of the pool deck. There progress is super dramatic.
