Question of the Day

Get the popcorn.

What movie have you seen the most times?

I have lost track of the number of times I’ve seen Casablanca.

13 barks and woofs on “Question of the Day

  1. I think The Big Sleep (Faulkner screenplay version), Auntie Mame with RR and Coppola’s Dracula are pretty much tied. Dracula is not great but I always enjoy it. Plus the DVD has an alternate Spanish soundtrack so I can convince myself it’s educational.

  2. Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Thief of Bagdad, Wizard of Oz, Victor Victoria, the Henry Fonda/Audrey Hepburn War and Peace, and La Nuit de Varennes. Don’t know which I’ve actually watched the most, but do think that they are the finest ever made. Could easily add To Kill a Mockingbird to that list.

  3. The African Queen, GWTW, The Sons of Katie Elder, Rio Bravo(if that’s the one with Ricky Nelson. So many more, Father Goose.

  4. Being much less sophisticated than the rest of your readers (obviously), in Chez618 it bounces among Airplane, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The lovely yet talented Mrs618 has worn out (actually physically worn out) two copies each of The Replacements and Beauty Shop.

  5. The African Queen, Rear Window, Lonesome Dove, Camelot (love, love, love Richard Harris), LA Confidential, The Departed, True Grit (the John Wayne version, not the re-make), Upstairs Downstairs, and Rumpole of the Bailey.

  6. The Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite, and I have seen it countless times. The first three Star Wars movies, and Fried Green Tomatoes.

  7. Blues Brothers

I’m shocked to this day that no one won an Oscar from this movie.

    Best line ever.
“It’s got a cop motor, a four hundred and forty cubic inch plant, it’s got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks, it’s a model made before catalytic converters, so it’ll run good on regular gas.”
