Question of the Day

I went shopping after meeting yesterday.  Ahead of me in the checkout line was a guy in a terrible hurry and he didn’t hide his impatience from the clerk, who was doing her best.  He finally got his bags and barged his way out to the parking lot.  I got there about five minutes later to see him standing next to his car, cursing.  He had a flat tire.

What’s your recent moment of karma-witness?

4 barks and woofs on “Question of the Day

  1. I could have been the guy in a hurry. I have no patience for people wasting my time. I went to the grocery Fri. and got behind 2 women with 3 different orders in the same cart. When I left the store after being in line 20 mins. my blood pressure was up and I was cussing a blue streak. I do my best to stay out of Walmart, they make me just ill.

  2. A number of years ago I watched as a solo driver weaved into and out of the HOV or High Occupancy Vehicle lane on I-635 in Dallas. As we rounded a corner he saw a cop in the median and immediately and illegally merged into the Non-HOV lane. The cop saw him and busted him. I will admit to enjoying a good case of schadenfreude.

  3. As the saying goes: your lack of planning does not constitute an emergency on my part. Let’s hope that the tire repair guy was slow, smelled bad, and overcharged him for the service.

  4. Karma is rampant at the race track. 99 times out of 100, the a-hole who whines, complains, rants about some trivial issue is the next guy to embarrass themselves with a big, very public loss. You’d think they’d learn, but nope… seems like it’s the same jerks every time.
