Today’s Chuckle

Comedy gold.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said in a recent interview that the filibuster rule change made in the Senate on Thursday will hurt the chamber’s ability to pass legislation.

“It will poison the atmosphere of the Senate,” Cruz said in an interview with Bloomberg Television’s “Political Capital with Al Hunt,” a transcript of which was posted online Friday afternoon.

This from the guy who plopped the turd in the punchbowl with his filibuster over Obamacare, then goaded the House into the shutdown in October.  What a riot.

Not to be outdone by his junior partner, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) claims the landmark nuclear pact with Iran was pulled off just to distract attention from Obamacare.

These guys are the Martin & Lewis of Capitol Hill.

2 barks and woofs on “Today’s Chuckle

  1. Unfortunately, they are not as funny as Dean and Jerry were. They are a couple of troublemakers who would have been expelled from school for their behaviour.

  2. Does anyone really expect any sort of factual — or even intelligible — comment from Rafael Eduardo Hijo de Puta Cruz, Canadian-born anchor baby spawn of cigar-sucking Cuban émigré, Castro supporter and Desi Arnaz wannabe Rafael Bienvenido Chinga tu Madre Cruz? The whole point of being a rethuglican is to avoid those pesky “fact” thingies, since they have a librul bias, donchaknow?
