Pay Gap

There’s a whole lotta ‘splainin’ going on over at Fox News.

Fox News host Martha MacCallum on Wednesday argued that women don’t need Congress to address inequality in the workplace.

“Many women make exactly what they’re worth,” she said on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.” “And they don’t want to be treated like some group of people who have to be, you know, given a little special handout just to make sure that they’re okay.”

No one’s asking for a special handout.  They’re just saying that if you have the same qualifications and do the same job you should be paid the same.

Just for the heck of it, I wonder how Ms. MacCallum’s pay compares to the dudes at Fox News.

2 barks and woofs on “Pay Gap

  1. “Many women make exactly what they’re worth”. What a nasty thing to say! Since women, on average, are paid less than men, they must be worth less, according to her comment. I am so tired of women-bashing, especially when it’s done by women.

    • I just think the women who do not support other women are mentally ill, nuts, whatever! How can you not want the best for your sister?
