Not In Their Town

What’s left of the Westboro Baptist Church brigade found out what it’s like to be on the receiving end of protests in Moore, Oklahoma: they hightailed it after a few residents of the town objected to their presence last Sunday.

Westboro’s permit to picket was for half an hour. They had been there a mere eight minutes when several people took matters into their own hands. Some Moore residents crossed the picket line to go after Westboro members. Dan Eccles said, “I was afraid of a riot really. I didn’t know how long Westboro would stay, which they were smart to leave.”

Police were able to hold back the Moore residents while the Westboro bunch rushed to pack their signs in their cars and leave.

Dan Eccles said, “They shagged tail, got in them cars and was leaving in a hurry. Oh yeah, they was gone!”

“I thought it was hilarious. I mean I really did. We sat there and laughed the whole time,” said Tina Johnson. “They were running, yeah.”

Things just haven’t been the same since Fred checked out.

2 barks and woofs on “Not In Their Town

  1. It may not be terribly Christian of me, but I hope that little f**ker rots in hell for eternity, with a bunch of 300-pound Bubbas with barbed penises raping him 24-7 till the end of time. Good riddance to the trash.

And I don’t have much sympathy for his family. They supported him in his crusade, so I hope THEY burn in hell too.

  2. Regardless of all of this, I still do not want to go to church; it just seems like too much politics.
