Question of the Day

Julie says I have never asked this one:

What’s your favorite song?

For me there are so many that it’s tough to choose, but if pressed, I’d say Nether Lands by Dan Fogelberg.  At least that’s the one that popped into my mind when Julie suggested the question.

10 barks and woofs on “Question of the Day

  1. You want just one?

Duran Duran: Last Chance on the Stairway. Good tune, well written and performed, and tied to lots of happy memories. Sadly not one of theirs that made the charts.

  2. Oh, geez. I don’t think I have one favorite song. There are sooooo many that I love to listen to, that’s for sure. I’d have to say my favorite music at the moment is Beethoven’s 5th.

  3. Now, how in the world can there be only one!?

    Scarborough Fair
    Rainy Night In Georgia
    Danny Boy
The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down (The Band)
    Bobby McGee (Janis Joplin)
Anything at all by Ivory Joe Hunter (I’m probably the only person alive who remembers him)
    Country Road (John Denver)
    …. the list goes on

  4. That is SO difficult. I think we should get to pick one per DECADE since high school graduation! But if I had to name only one, I’d say it was a Pink Floyd song — On the Turning Away.

  5. In the Garden by Van Morrison
Let It Be Me by The Everly Brothers
In My Life by The Beatles
Dancing on the Ceiling by Frank Sinatra
    Too, too many to list!

  6. Elusive Butterfly – Bob Lind
Gentle on My Mind – duet by John Hartford and Glen Campbell
    Everybody’s Talking – Harry Nilsson

Too many movie soundtracks and too much classical music to list here.

  7. I’d have to choose One Particular Harbor by Jimmy Buffett, but that is just right now…I’ve a long list of songs that are favorites.
