I Voted

Voted 10-25-08

It took me an hour to get from my office to the polling station, but I made it.

On the way in to the polling station a local candidate spotted my Bark Bark Woof Woof polo shirt (get yours here) and said he reads the blog.  He proved it by citing some posts.  Thanks, it’s good to be noticed.

The actual voting took about ten minutes; two pages of fill-in bubbles for everything from governor to local parks.  Done and done.

Tell me how it went in your area.

2 barks and woofs on “I Voted

  1. I was #73 at my polling place late (4pm) this afternoon. We use scanned ballots and draw a line to complete an arrow on which candidates we vote for and a yes/no arrow for propositions. Not the greatest turnout at my location, but beats the primary, where I was around #37 at about the same time of day. I at least voted. I’d like to kick the behinds of those who don’t bother to – and then complain about how things are. Not voting is not an act of defiance – it is surrender.

  2. My polling place is a church 1 block away. I left home at 10 a.m. and was back at 10:30. Only 3 people were there, no line. I was the 88th voter.
