Yesterday we had a car show on Biltmore Way in Coral Gables.  It’s an annual event in conjunction with the Latin Carnival that takes over Miracle Mile, the main business district of the “City Beautiful.”  It was a judged show, which means that they looked at all the aspects of the car and rendered a verdict.  I spent most of the day registering cars and wondering if it would rain.  In the end I got this:

Winning a trophy is nice, but it’s not really the point of the show for me.  It’s about hanging out with friends, telling stories about favorite cars, and looking at the grins on peoples’ faces when they see a familiar grille in the crowd.
