Quote of the Day

Marco Rubio on what he wants to be when he grows up.

I don’t want to be in politics my whole life. I want to serve our country and I’d like to do some other things. Like maybe own an NFL team or something.

Or maybe an astronaut or a fireman.

5 barks and woofs on “Quote of the Day

  1. Again, thanks for my late-nite snack of snark of humor as I head off to bed after a weekend of severe tummy bug….I’m officially joining the “sandwich generation”…taking long distance relief for my big sis of my 94 yr old mom, and now Tues-thurs gig of my incredibly sweet 6 yr grandson…fortunately for me, they are both easy keepers! … I love your wagon series! My first driving experience was a ’57 fire-engine red Ford Wagon with shift on the column!

  2. “I don’t want to remember nothing. NOTHING, you understand? And I want to be someone important…. You know, like an actor.” (Cipher, from The Matrix).

“I don’t want to be in politics my whole life. I want to serve our country…” sounds a lot like Rubio doesn’t think being Senator is public service. For him, though, it probably isn’t.

  3. “Serve our country” by making a ton of money and letting it trickle down while owning a football team and giving jobs to lots of big black boys.
