What Siege?

Apparently the occupiers of the Oregon bird sanctuary can come and go as they please, making pizza runs and such.

“Right now, they are allowed to come and go as they want,” says Bill Fugate, a spokesman for the Oregon State police.

It’s less of a siege and more like a bunch of kids camping out in the back yard.

It also means that no one on the outside — such as it is — is really taking this “occupation” seriously.  Pretty soon they’ll get tired of the whole thing, pack up, and go home.  And that’s when they get arrested, I hope.

One bark on “What Siege?

  1. I read a couple of days ago that the locals were cutting the power to the buildings in the preserve. Maybe these guys don’t need to get inside to use the bathroom or a glass of water. Or maybe they’ll just fade away. Who was that masked man?
