The chili pepper vanda is going at it again. These are the first blooms I’ve seen all summer.
I’m green with envy. How long will it stay in bloom? My Kroger ice-cube phaelanopsis (sp?) orchids keep blooming and when I think it’s time to pitch one or the other it sticks up another spike and I haven’t the heart to toss it into the trash. I long for something more exotic, but this climate isn’t the place. Lucky you.
They last about three weeks. This particular vanda blooms three or four times a year.
