By Any Other Name

People are being rounded up, held in one place, not allowed to leave, and the conditions are minimum.

Yes, of course they’re concentration camps.  That’s the definition of them.

[A] guarded compound for the detention or imprisonment of aliens, members of ethnic minorities, political opponents, etc., especially any of the camps established by the Nazis prior to and during World War II for the confinement and persecution of prisoners.

Republicans and Trumpistas are outraged that AOC called them that and are demanding she resign or whatever.

But they’re fine with the camps existing at all.

There’s your outrage.

2 barks and woofs on “By Any Other Name

  1. Even Chris Hayes is worried that calling them concentration camps will hurt the fee fees of some people he somehow sees as well meaning. Really disappointing.

  2. Should I mention, that a friend of mine, moved in here on the 10of June works at the converted Walmart store. He started working there about 4weeks ago. I hate that we’re doing this, but he has not mentioned any abuse. He said they go on field trips and one night a week they have a dance and he chaperoned. Btw, this facility is less than 2 miles from my house.
