Our driveway is about 200 feet long and luckily the neighboring farmer plows it for us, in exchange for a couple of bottles of Crown Royal every year, but there’s still lots of areas that need to be shoveled.
A long time ago I did an end-to-end hike of the Appalachian Trail and one of my favorite photos was taken at a trail shelter with a hiker who was from Florida – I’m shirtless and the guy is wearing a down parka, and we’re about a foot from each other.
