Liberals, said editor Bill Voegeli, want to create “the United States of Feeling Good About Ourselves.”
Yeah, I found out that talking about peace, equality, and saving the environment is the way to get laid. “Ooh, baby, talk to me about those naughty Kyoto Protocols.”

I’m a liberal, most of my friends are liberal, & I have known many liberals. I’ve never known anyone who thought like that.
A lot of it is projection, especially about the sex. To quote the immortal BJ Hunnicut, their preoccupation with sex comes from a lack of occupation with sex. That and the idea that somewhere someone is having fun and it must be stopped.
I think you called it right. After all, perhaps enough people ARE just saying no — to sex with a Republican.

Sheesh. So we are to believe Republicans grow out of good childhoods? Considering what assholes they are as adults, I suddenly feel ever so much more about being “tenderized” into a liberal adulthood where I treat humans like humans.
