Random Rhetorical Question

If, as Gov. Chris Christie and the rest of the anti-marriage equality contingent claim, same-sex marriage is too big an issue to be left to the hands of the state legislatures and therefore must be put to a referendum, why isn’t something as equally important as reproductive choice voted on by the people as well?

It’s because the proponents of banning abortion and forcing women to undergo medically unnecessary procedures just to humiliate them know they would lose.
