Looking out the kitchen window this morning, I spotted some colorful visitors.

Peacocks

This couple is a part of a larger pride (or “muster” or “ostentation”) of peacocks in the neighborhood. They’re beautiful to look at, but they’re noisy and not especially friendly. Nevertheless, it’s something to make you grab the camera when you’re standing in the kitchen pouring a second cup of coffee.

Update: They wandered around to the front yard later.
